A few astute readers noticed I recently made a BIG change in my business.
It’s a change that will…
- Increase the average transaction size of every sale I make
- Reduce support headaches and refund requests
- Dramatically increase my affiliate base (and help them make more money)
- Lighten the load on my server and increase the security of my products
- Decrease the time it takes to launch a new product or membership site
In other words… it’s a critical change.
But did you spot it?
Don’t worry if you missed it, the change is almost invisible.
Here’s what I did:
I changed the software that does all the heavy lifting to run my business — upgrading from Rapid Action Profits to Nanacast.
Why the change?
Many of you know I’ve been running RAP for a number of years and have been happy with it — so why the change?
7 Smart Reasons to Upgrade to Nanacast
1. Push-Button 1-Click Upsells & Downsells
Adding an up-sell to an existing product is probably the fastest way to add profit to your business literally overnight.
Nanacast gives you advanced upsell/downsell functionality and makes it push-button simple to implement — you just choose which product should be offered as an upsell/downsell using a drop-down menu and Nanacast takes care of everything.
And if you get a merchant account you can do true 1-click upsells, which have been shown to increase profits as much as 30% or more.
2. Physical Product Fulfillment
Physical products have higher perceived value than digital products, get less refunds, and despite what many people believe, are just as easy to offer as digital products.
Nanacast integrates directly with Kunaki, PMAFulfillment.com and Disc.com. This makes offering physical versions of your digital products as easy as uploading your product, entering your details, and selecting “Activate Physical Product Fulfillment.”
3. Limited Employee Accounts
Sometimes you need to give employees or outsourcers access to your systems to run reports, re-send download links or do general support. But you don’t always want to give them access to everything.
Nanacast let’s you setup limited employee accounts which allow them to do the tasks they need to, without having free reign on your account and sensitive company data.
4. Powerful Affiliate System
Affiliates and joint venture partners can be one of your most powerful business allies and can make the difference between an OK promotion and your merchant account calling to check up on you.
(If you’ve ever had a super affiliate promote one of your products then you know what I mean — there is nothing like seeing hundreds of orders pour in even before you’ve done any promotion.)
Nanacast has one of the most powerful affiliate systems available today with combined cookie/IP tracking and the ability to stop people buying from their own link, which affiliates love because it protects their commissions.
You also get to tap into the rapidly expanding Nanacast affiliate base and can have your products listed in their product directory for free.
5. Secure Amazon S3 Integration
Amazon S3 is a fantastic low-cost storage solution (I have about 10 GIGs stored on S3 and my bills are around $5 per month) that automatically allocates resources as your traffic expands.
The more traffic you get, the more resources S3 gives you, so your videos always stream smoothly and your customers get fast download speeds no matter how many people are downloading at once.
Nanacast integrates directly into S3 and uses secure Amazon “buckets” to serve your files, giving you maximum security along with all the speed benefits mentioned above.
6. Streamlined Product/Membership Creation
There is nothing worse than having a great idea for a product or membership site and then getting bogged down in technical black-holes trying to get the thing online.
The faster you can get your product online the faster you will make money.
Nanacast makes setting up a product as simple as filling in a few forms, checking a few boxes, and clicking a few buttons.
Once you learn the system you can have a membership site setup — complete with upsells, downsells, autoresponders, physical product fulfilment, and affiliate system — all within 5 minutes.
7. Integrated Hosted Solution
If you’ve got 37 different systems running your business then you know what a nightmare it can be.
There’s passwords to remember, different software to manage and update, reports to run and monitor… not only is it a time-vampire but it makes systemizing and streamling your business almost impossible.
Nanacast is a hosted solution — that means they take care of all the software updates for you, automatically without you doing anything. This alone is worth the investment.
It’s also an integrated solution — sales, affiliates, content, products, membership sites, podcasts, RSS feeds… it does everything you need and integrates directly into Aweber for email marketing.
Get a Free Trial of Nanacast
As you can see, just one of the benefits above is worth many times more the relatively small monthly investment you’ll make in Nanacast.
(You can imagine what kind of profit increases you can get when you combine all seven.)
If you want to experience what Nanacast can do for your business but don’t want to invest blindly you’ll be glad to know that, while they don’t make it public knowledge, there is a sneaky way to get Nanacast FREE for 7 days.
That gives you plenty of time to have a look around, learn the software, and see exactly how it can help you grow your business.

Kyle,
Thanks for the breakdown on the power of Nanacast VS. RAP!
There’s much too consider when shopping for software to help you to run a very profitable business and now I know that Nanacast has the nuts to make it happen
Thanks,
Justin
You bet Justin, Nanacast can handle just about anything you throw at it. And the benefits I listen above barely scratch the surface, they’re just the ones that I personally found the most compelling.
The Nanacast website doesn’t exactly do them any favors — it really needs a makeover — that’s why the trial is so handy. It was only after I started putting it through it’s paces that I realized how much I could do with it.
Cheers
Kyle
I don’t use Nanacast for my own products yet, but I like it from the affiliate side (promoting products by marketers like yourself who use Nanacast). It’s reallly nice to log into my Nanacast affiliate account because the layout is so clear. It’s easy to monitor how I’m doing. I can’t say the same for other affiliate program interfaces.
Hi Kyle
Thanks for this. Do you know how it works for UK marketers I am assuming fine?? I have been scratching my head about affliates and clickbank as potentially the product I am launching could be physical as well. This looks to good to be true? What is the difference between the viral and viral premium?
Thanks Denise
Hi Denise,
It should work fine in the UK, but check with Josh (via support) just to make sure it fits your requirements. He’s a great guy and will make sure it’s going to work for you.
The main difference between the viral and viral premium is vp gives you extra options for customization on your download/login pages and gives you CNAME functionality, which lets you essentially “mask” the nanacast domain with your own so everything looks to be coming from your site.
I went with the viral premium because I figure the extras will more than make up for the small extra price — it’s just one extra sale I have to make each month.
Cheers
Kyle
Great info Kyle, thanks. Does it mean that I can build a large affiliate center website in Dreamweaver (the software I use to create complex sites) and just plug Nanacast into it? Or does the site actually get built within Nanacast itself?
Thanks for clarifying. Cheers, Graeme
On the affiliate side of things, everything is run in Nanacast. However you can customize the headers/footers (more so in the Viral Premium version) to make your affiliate site look pretty much how you like.
On the product side, you’ve got two options. You can either load your salesletter directly into Nanacast and they will host it for you, or you can setup your own website and just plug in an order button that Nanacast generates.
Hi Kyle
Switching from ClickBank to Nanacast means your products are no longer in the ClickBank Marketplace. I know there are other places to find affiliates, but do you not miss the size of ClickBank and all it has to offer vendors?
Personally I’ve not had a super affiliate stumble onto my product on Clickbank and make a bunch of sales. My most successful affiliates have always been recruited by me, are friends of mine, or previous customers… which makes the marketplace a moot point.
I’m sure other people have had super affiliates pick up their products — and depending on the market you’re in this may be more likely than in others — so it’s definitely something you’d want to take into consideration before jumping ship.
And remember there’s nothing stopping you from selling your products on more than one system/network. Some of my lead gen products are on 4 or 5 different networks
But ALL my backend products will now be sold exclusively on Nanacast, for all the reasons mentioned above.
Plus… once you’re doing any kind of volume the fees are MUCH lower than on Clickbank or similar market places. And you have more control over refunds.
Hi Kyle
Another question. I’m on the brink of building my Affiliate Center, so I really want to make sure I create it the right way from the start. A couple of my products are in a niche where the sales page needs to look quite ‘sexy’, using a fair amount of graphics and video. Is Nanacast able to produce sites like these, or are they very basic? Is it possible you could you point me to an example, please?
Tons of thanks
Graeme
Hi Graeme
You can create your sales pages however you like, with whatever graphics/videos/scripts you want, using the exact same tools you do now.
All you need to integrate with Nanacast is paste a “buy now” button on your page.
All of these sites are using Nanacast:
thelostblueprint.com
overnightmembershipsite.com
consultingtycoon.com
48hourinfoproducts.com
The only thing I had to change to move from RAP to Nanacast was swap out the buy now buttons… a 5 second job for each site.
Hope that helps
Kyle
Absolute gold, mate. Thank you.
Loving the 4HE!
